Ham Soup

  Combine ham and onions. Sauté until ham is tender. Cut potatoes into small cubes and cook in small amount of water until tender. Drain. Cook noodles in salt water until soft, and drain. Add to ham along with potatoes and the milk. Bring to a boil and add salt and pepper. Serve with crackers or corn bread.  4 c. ham - cubed
3/4 c. onion, minced
1 c. noodles, dry
4 medium potatoes
3 quarts milk
