Cheese Turkey Chowder
Place frozen turkey
wings in a large saucepan. Add water until meat is covered. Add salt and
onion. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until meat is tender.
Remove from broth; debone meat and cut in small pieces. To 4 cups broth
(add water to make 4 cups if necessary) add carrots, celery and potatoes.
Simmer until tender. Gradually blend milk into flour until smooth. Stir in
broth along with butter and cheese. Cook over medium heat until thickened,
stirring constantly. Add turkey meat. |

1 tsp. salt
1 med. onion, chopped
1 cup carrots, chopped
1 cup celery chopped
1 cup potatoes, diced
1 cup shredded cheese
2 cups milk
6 Tbsp. flour
1/4 cup butter |
