Barbecued Meatballs

  Mix all meatball ingredients together and form into balls; place on baking sheet and brown approximately 20 minutes at 350° F. Put in roaster. Combine sauce ingredients and pour over meatballs. Bake another 30-40 minutes, or you can just finish baking them on the baking sheet too.

Yield: 4 dozen meatballs.

3 lb. ground beef
1 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. chopped onions
2 eggs, beaten
12 oz. Carnation milk
1 c. cracker crumbs
1/2 t. garlic powder
1/2 t. seasoned salt
1/2 t. pepper
Sauce:
1 c. ketchup
1/4 c. vinegar (scant)
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. brown sugar
3 t. mustard
water (if you want thinner sauce)
