Taco Rice Recipe Amish

Fry ground beef and onions until brown. Add taco seasoning and tomatoes. Cook rice with reserved tomato juice. Add enough water to make 2½ cups. When rice is soft, mix it with the beef mixture. Pour into a 9" x 13" pan. Mix together mayonnaise, sour cream and cheese. Spread over beef mixture. Make a thin batter of Bisquick and milk and pour over top of sour cream mixture. Bake at 400° F. for 30 minutes. Suggestion: If you don't have shredded cheese just add a layer of Velveeta on top of sour cream mixture.

1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion
1/2 package taco seasoning
1 16-oz. can chunk tomatoes
1 cup rice
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheese
2 cups Bisquick mix
3/4 cup milk
