Pot Luck Cheese and Potato Casserole

Combine potatoes and butter in a large mixing bowl. Add salt, pepper, onion, soup, sour cream, cheese. Blend thoroughly. Pour into greased casserole 9x13" pan. Cover with crushed corn flakes mixed with melted butter. Bake at 350° F. oven for 45 minutes.

2 lbs. jacket boiled potatoes, peeled and chopped
4 Tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 pint sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup undiluted
2 c. grated, sharp cheddar cheese
2 c. crushed corn flakes, mixed with 1/4 c. melted butter
1/2 c. chopped onion
