Mix 4 T. brown sugar and butter with crackers. To make the pudding, heat 10 c. milk. Stir together the next 5 ingredients. Put it in the heated milk and boil again. Then add the last 3 ingredients. Stir once in awhile while cooling to keep it smooth. Add whipped topping before putting in layers.

2 pkg. graham crackers, crushed
4 T. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter, browned
10 c. milk
1-1/3 c. cornstarch
1/2 c. flour
2/3 c. white sugar
2 c. milk
8 egg yolks
2¼ c. brown sugar
4 T. butter
2 t. vanilla
