Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs, mix well. Add vanilla and mix in dry ingredients and chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° F for 10 minutes.

1 c. melted butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. sour milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3½ c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 small bag chocolate chips
