Recipe Apple Crisp Amish Recipes

Mix sugar, flour, salt and cinnamon with apples. Mix well and place in a casserole dish. For topping, combine dry ingredients and rub in butter to make crumbs. Put crumbs on top of apple mixture. Bake at 350° F. for 45 minutes. Serve hot or cold. Delicious with ice cream. Can also use other fruits.

3/4 c. sugar

1 T. flour
1/2 t. cinnamon
4 c. sliced apples
Topping:
3/4 c. oatmeal
3/4 c. flour
1/4 t. soda
1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. butter
3/4 t. baking powder
