Recipe Sweet Garlic Dill Pickles Amish Canning Recipes

Slice medium cucumbers 1/4: thick into quart jars. Put 1 garlic clove and 1 dill head or 1 t. dill seed on top. Pour syrup over top. Put jars in canner; fill canner with water to top of jars. Process in boiling-water bath. Turn off heat. Remove lid of canner and let jars set until cool. Will be ready to eat in 2 weeks.

2 c. sugar
2 T. salt
1 c. vinegar
3 c. water
