Boil tomatoes, pepper, apples and onions until tender. Put through Victorio strainer, then put back on stove and add rest of ingredients. Boil until thick like ketchup. Have boiling hot to put in jars; seal. When ready to use add enough rolled oats or flour to fried hamburger to thicken. Stir; add sauce.

4 medium-sized apples
4 onions
2 T. salt
1 t. cloves
1 t. cinnamon
1 t. allspice
3 c. vinegar, scant
3 c. white sugar
