Freezer Pickles Amish Canning Recipes

Put in bowl and refrigerate for 24 hours. Drain. Mix 1¾ cups sugar and 1/2 cup vinegar. Pour over pickles and refrigerate for another 24 hours. Remove from refrigerator and pack in freezer boxes. Pour syrup over pickles and freeze.

2 quarts sliced pickles
1 large onion, sliced
2 tablespoons salt
