Recipe Apple Pie Filling to Can Amish Canning Recipes

Cook water and sugar together just till boiling, then add apples and tapioca. Put in jars and cold pack for 15 minutes. Do not overfill jars, it will thicken while cold packing. Add cinnamon and apple pie spice when making pie. This recipe is simple but good.

Yield: 4-1/2 quarts.

12 c. grated apples
4 c. white sugar
3 c. water
6 T. minute tapioca
