Pumpkin Bread 2

Preheat oven to 350° F. Sift dry ingredients into large mixing bowl. In another bowl beat together the rest of the ingredients. Mix only until dry ingredients are moist. Bake in greased and floured 9x5x3 pan in oven for 60 to 65 minutes.

1½ c. plus 2 Tbs. flour
1½ c. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. melted shortening
2 eggs, beaten
1/3 c. water
1 c. canned pumpkin
