Cinnamon Rolls
Soften yeast
in milk; add sugar and 1½ cups flour. When bubbly, add salt, eggs, oil,
and 1½ cups flour. Knead; let rise till double in size. Roll to 1/4"
thick. Spread with melted utter and sprinkle with cinnamon and raisins.
Roll like jelly roll and cut into 1½" slices. Place in greased pans. Let
rise till double in size. Just before baking, pour a caramelized syrup
over it made with 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 Tbsp. butter, and 1/4 cup water.
Bake at 350° F for 20 minutes, or until done |
