Baked Apple Donuts
Stir together flour, baking powder, nutmeg, sugar, and salt. Cut in
shortening. Combine eggs, milk, and apples; add to crumb mixture. Mix
quickly until thoroughly blended. Fill greased muffin cups 3/4 full. Bake
at 350° F. oven for 20-25 minutes. Remove from pans and roll in melted
margarine (while still warm), then in mixture of 1 cup sugar and 3 tsp.
cinnamon. |
