Spicy Cocktail Nuts

In a large, heavy skillet, over moderate heat, melt butter. Add cumin and cayenne pepper and stir for 30 seconds. Add nuts and salt and sauté until nuts are lightly toasted, about 3 minutes. Drop on paper towels. Col before storing in airtight container. Makes 4 cups.

1 stick butter
1 tsp. cumin
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1c. mixed nuts (unsalted cashews, walnuts, pecans and blanched almonds)
1½ tsp. coarse salt
