Deep Fried Zucchini Sticks

Wash and dry zucchini and cut into sticks about 1/2 inch thick. Beat eggs with milk. Dip each stick in egg mixture and then in bread crumbs. Salt and pepper may be added to the breadcrumbs if desired. Place the coated zucchini on a wax paper lined cookie sheet. Chill until shortly before preparation.

Fry in deep fat to 380° on frying thermometer until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and serve at once. Makes 4 servings.

1½ lbs. zucchini
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup flour
salt and pepper
1/4 c. bread crumbs
vegetable oil for frying
1/4 cup milk
