Lancaster County, Pennsylvania--the Pennsylvania "Dutch" County--has been famed for its tobaccos since before the American Revolution. Now, just as in early days, Lancaster County's Amish and other traditional family farmers grow the rich, full-bodied Pennsylvania Seedleaf for our cigars.

They still do things the old-fashioned way--planting, growing, hand-harvesting, then barn-curing their tobaccos for just the right time.

We take great pride in our cigars--all made in the Pennsylvania tradition of quality and value.

Here are some cigar facts that may help you choose your favorites. All cigars consist of three parts:

Filler--the tobacco that makes up the major part of every cigar, usually a blend.
Binder--the tobacco used to contain the filler and create the cigar's shape.
Wrapper--the visible, outer shell of the cigar.

We offer cigars made by two processes, with several variations in tobacco content, ring gauge (diameter at the widest point) and style for each. 

The first process uses a homogenized binder (tobacco plus a natural adhesive) and in some cases a homogenized wrapper. These cigars are easier to make, so they're very good smokes at very reasonable prices.

The second process uses 100% tobacco, blended and made the old-time way. Many of our cigars use famed Connecticut Natural Broadleaf and Connecticut Broadleaf, especially fine wrapper and binder leaves.
