yeast, warm water, and 1 t. sugar. Mix with milk, 3 T. sugar, salt, and
shortening, then cool to lukewarm. Add egg to the mixture and as much
flour as needed. Let rise 1 hour. Punch down. Let rise until double.
Bake at 350° F.

4 T. shortening, melted
